How it works in 4 steps

Four parts, one operator. Here is what happens behind your brand.

  1. Your storefront goes live

We set up and run a storefront on your domain, in your colors and your voice. Patients start an intake and check out there. Behind the page we run intake routing, billing, the pharmacy handoff and patient support.

  2. Licensed clinicians evaluate each patient

Each patient completes an evaluation. An independently licensed clinician reviews it and decides whether treatment is appropriate. Not all patients qualify, and your brand and EmbedCare do not direct that decision.

  3. Licensed pharmacies prepare and dispense

When a clinician prescribes, state-licensed pharmacies prepare and dispense the medication, only against a valid prescription. Your brand does not compound or dispense medication. Licensed pharmacies do.

  4. We run support and compliance upkeep

Our team answers patient questions in your brand's voice and maintains the platform's compliance work. You remain responsible for your own marketing, the claims you make and your own website.

Care lines you can offer

Offer one care line or several under your own brand. Each line follows the same structure: an intake, an evaluation by an independent licensed clinician, and a licensed pharmacy where a prescription calls for one.

  • Weight loss

GLP-1 weight management programs, with a clinician evaluation for every patient. Not all patients qualify.

  • Hormone therapy

Menopause and hormone therapy programs, reviewed by an independent licensed clinician before anything is prescribed.

  • Sexual health

Discreet online visits for sexual health concerns, including erectile dysfunction. The prescribing decision belongs to the clinician.

  • Hair & skin

Hair loss and skin care programs, from everyday concerns to prescription options that a licensed clinician decides on.

  • Longevity & wellness

Wellness and longevity programs, offered where licensed clinicians and pharmacy partners support them.

  • Primary & urgent care

Everyday virtual visits for common illnesses and primary care needs, with a licensed clinician.

Which of these lines you can launch, and in which states, depends on the licensed clinicians and pharmacy partners involved. We walk through what is available for you on the demo.

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. They are prescribed at a licensed clinician's discretion, and not all patients qualify.

Built for clinics, spas, gyms, brands, pharmacies and creators

Different businesses come to a GLP-1 program from different places. Find the one closest to you.

  • Clinics and medical practices

If patients keep asking about GLP-1 care, you do not have to build a program on top of a full schedule. We run the storefront, intake, pharmacy handoff and patient support around it.

  • Med spas

Your clients already trust you with their care decisions. Offer a GLP-1 program alongside your treatments, with independent licensed clinicians and licensed pharmacies already in place behind it.

  • Gyms and studios

Your members already look to you for guidance. A GLP-1 program can sit beside your coaching as a separate medical service run by independent licensed clinicians. Your coaches stay coaches.

  • Supplement and DTC brands

You already sell to an audience that trusts you. A clinician-led program is a medical service, kept separate from your products and run by licensed clinicians and pharmacies. We operate it so your team stays on your brand.

  • Pharmacies

A pharmacy that wants to offer a program to its own patients still needs a storefront, independent clinicians and support around it. We operate those pieces. Whether your pharmacy can also take part in fulfillment depends on state rules and diligence, so bring it to the demo and your counsel.

  • Creators and communities

You built trust with an audience, and some of them ask about GLP-1 care. We run the program behind your brand. If you promote it, disclose your relationship to it clearly, as advertising rules require.

Tell us what you run and we will show you how a program fits around it.

7 things we run so you do not have to

A GLP-1 program is a clinical business, so there is more to run than a storefront. This is the operating stack behind your brand. It does not take over your own responsibilities: you remain responsible for your own marketing, the claims you make and your own website.

  1. A branded storefront

Your domain and your look, with intake and checkout built in.

  2. Clinician evaluation

Intakes are routed to independent licensed clinicians, who make every prescribing decision.

  3. The pharmacy handoff

Prescriptions go to state-licensed pharmacies that prepare and dispense. Your brand does not.

  4. Billing and the patient portal

Checkout, subscriptions and recurring billing, with a patient portal behind your brand.

  5. Patient support

Order, billing and refill questions answered in your brand's voice, with email and text reminders for patients who are due.

  6. Compliance upkeep

We maintain the platform's compliance work: state prescribing rules, privacy and HIPAA practices, and the standard disclosures a telehealth website carries. Your own marketing, claims and website stay yours.

  7. Launch and onboarding

A kickoff plan, domain setup and a checklist of what to prepare before you go live, with a person to ask along the way.

Pick any of these and ask to see it running.

Questions owners ask before they book

Who prescribes?

Independently licensed clinicians make every prescribing decision. Each patient completes an evaluation, the clinician decides whether treatment is appropriate, and not all patients qualify. EmbedCare and your brand do not prescribe and do not direct clinical decisions.

Is it legal if I am not a doctor?

It depends on your state and on how the business is structured. Many states limit who may own a medical practice or direct clinical decisions, so programs are usually built with an independently owned medical group making every clinical decision and a separate business entity running the non-clinical side. EmbedCare is a technology and services platform, not a medical practice. We cannot give legal advice, so have a healthcare attorney review your structure and launch states. We walk through how programs are typically organized on the demo.

What is a white-label GLP-1 program?

A white-label GLP-1 program is a turnkey, operated GLP-1 telehealth service that you offer under your own brand. Patients see your storefront and your support, independent licensed clinicians decide whether treatment is appropriate, and licensed pharmacies prepare and dispense. EmbedCare operates the platform behind it, and the clinical decisions stay with the clinicians.

Which care lines can I offer?

The care lines are weight loss (GLP-1 weight management programs), hormone therapy, sexual health, hair and skin, longevity and wellness, and primary and urgent care. Which lines you can launch, and in which states, depends on the licensed clinicians and pharmacy partners involved, so we confirm what is available for you on the demo. For every line, independent licensed clinicians make each prescribing decision, and not all patients qualify.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on your program and is set in a signed agreement, so it is covered on the demo. We walk through the whole cost structure there, before anything is signed.

Who sets the patient prices?

You do. You set the price your patients pay, within the range your signed agreement allows. What a patient pays is a business decision, and whether treatment is appropriate is a clinical one made by an independent licensed clinician. We walk through how pricing works on the demo.

Can I keep my current website or store?

Yes. Your current website or store can stay where it is, on Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix or Square. A link or button sends patients to your branded storefront, which can live on a care subdomain of your own domain, or the program's intake can be embedded on a page of your site. Your existing catalog, theme and checkout stay as they are. The medical intake and the program's own checkout run on the platform, not in your store's regular cart. Your own site and the claims on it remain your responsibility, so bring the pages you have in mind to the demo.

How fast can I launch?

Days, not months, to set up the storefront. The rest of the launch timeline depends on your domain, your brand and the items on the kickoff checklist, and it is set at kickoff. Certification and ad platform approvals run on their own timelines, and we cannot say when or whether they will be granted.

Which pharmacies prepare and dispense the medication?

State-licensed pharmacies prepare and dispense medication, only against a valid prescription from a licensed clinician. Your brand does not compound or dispense medication. Licensed pharmacies do.

Do I need my own certification?

If you plan to advertise a prescription service on major ad platforms, certification is generally a prerequisite. Certification is granted per website, so a program on its own domain is certified on its own, separate from ours. EmbedCare's website is LegitScript-certified. We help you prepare for the application and the standards it checks. Approval is up to the certifier, and ad platforms run their own reviews on their own timelines.

What does compounded mean?

Where a program includes compounded medications, a compounded medication is prepared by a state-licensed pharmacy on a clinician's prescription. FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. They are prescribed at a licensed clinician's discretion, and not all patients qualify. Whether one is appropriate for a patient is the clinician's decision.

Get the GLP-1 launch budget worksheet

A worksheet of the cost lines a GLP-1 program launch carries, grouped by when you pay them: before launch, every month, per patient, and early acquisition, plus the lines a typical budget leaves out. Each line has a note saying where the real number comes from. It lists costs and does not calculate or predict anything. Print it, fill it in, and take it into every vendor call you have, ours included.

We send this once, with no automated sequence. A person on our team may follow up.
